Learn to play the Rangers Way’
Whilst SSS provides our young people a platform to develop their football, we want to make sure that young players can play within a team and experience grassroots football from a competitive standpoint. In 2017 James and Tom forged a relationship with Stafford Rangers FC, working together to grow their junior’s section. By 2021 James and Tom became the Chairman and Secretary of Stafford Rangers Juniors FC and have since go on to develop their club’s ethos and provide a developmental pathway for our players coming from Stafford Soccer School.
At present, Stafford Rangers Juniors FC, sit proudly as one of the top 5 male developmental pathway clubs within Staffordshire- with over 1200 males, and over 30 Juniors teams playing over Saturdays and Sunday leagues. Our teams start at u7s and progress all the way through to u18s.
We want our Juniors section to be a leading example of players conduct, development and performance within the local community, whilst ensuring the excellent safeguarding and welfare of or young players and best practice of the FA standards.
We want players, parents and communities to see the potential and commitment in what SRJ can provide to young people within the local area (and beyond). We have a commitment to not just raising standards of elite players, but to allow young people a place where they can grow socially, emotionally and holistically. Whether or not players want to be in a team, we have a duty and a structure in ensuring their development on and off the pitch.
Stafford Soccer School has become not just a training facility, but a home for the Stafford Rangers Juniors players, and continues to grow their grassroots team’s year in, year out.
